Boston Bruins goaltender Tuukka Rask has been named the National Hockey League's 'First Star' after his performance for the Bs in the past week.

Rask capped off the week of games with a 21 save shutout over the Colorado Avalanche on Sunday night in a 2-0 victory.  Over the week, the net-minder went 4-0-0 with a 0.75 goals against average and had a save percentage of .970.

Boston is now 10-6 on the year which is good for the fourth best record in the Eastern Conference.  Rask has also produced a 10-1-0 record and is tied with Carey Price for the most victories in the league.

The Bruins will be back on the ice Thursday night when they face the Minnesota Wild.
