Rams Boys Knock Off Broncos,Girls Tie

The second and final Bangor vs Hampden soccer doubleheader day brought a Bangor boys win and a tie in the girls game.

The boys matchup pitted the #4 Rams against the #2 Broncos. Bangor jumped out to an early 2-0 lead on goals by Carson Atherley and Jacob Berenyi. The Rams made that score stick.

The Rams win puts their record at 9-3-1. Hampden is 11-2.

In the girls game, it was Hampden jumping out to a 2-0 lead, only to see the Rams come back to tie it. The tying goal came on a breakaway from Libby Spekhardt.

Through two overtime periods they stayed tied 2-2.

Put the Bangor record at 10-1-2 and Hampden at 5-5-3.
