The Presque Isle Fire Department responded to the blaze at 290 Skyway Street just after 9 o’clock Sunday night and remained on scene for nearly 3 hours. The fire caused extensive damage to one side of the duplex, but both units are uninhabitable. The tenants made it out safely.

The rental property at Skyway Trailer Park is owned by Geary Bonville.

Lowell said the investigation continues.
