Presque Isle Man Arrested in Fatal OUI Crash

Presque Isle police have charged the driver involved in a fatal motor vehicle accident last month on the Centerline Road in Presque Isle.

The crash on October 7th claimed the life of 56-year-old Justin Brown Jr. of Presque Isle. Brown's 75-year-old mother was admitted to the hospital with various injuries.

On Thursday, police officers arrested 46-year-old Jason Ireland of Presque Isle. Ireland is charged with manslaughter, OUI causing death, operating under the influence causing bodily injury, aggravated driving to endanger, and operating a motor vehicle without a license.

Ireland was taken to the Presque Isle Police Department where he was processed and posted bail. He is scheduled to appear in court on December 19th.
