More than 2000 people were left with no power caused by the severe snow storm. The outages began late Tuesday night, according to Main Public Service.

As of right now MPS crews are still working to bring power to some 460 homes. The most power outages were reported in Island Falls, followed by Sherman, Oakfield, Easton, Presque Isle, Monticelo, Ashland and Bridgewater.

According to an early Wednesday morning unofficial report: Ashland reported 14 inches of snow, Fort Kent 11 inches, and Presque Isle 10 inches.

The National Weather Service reports more snow on the way for Northern Maine.
