Power Outages in Nothern Aroostook County

Officials with Maine Public Service Company are trying to get to the bottom of power outages in Northern Aroostook County this morning.

Several Maine Public Service crews are patrolling the lines to determine the cause of a power outage in the Fort Kent area this morning. Affected towns include Fort Kent, Wallagrass, Eagle Lake, Winterville and the St. Froid Lake area.

2104 are without power at this hour. Power is expected to be restored by late morning.

Anyone using generators or alternate heat sources are reminded to use them in accordance with the manufacturer's guidelines.
