Police responded to seven reports of thefts from vehicles, all of which appear to have been targeted as they were unlocked, according to Cpl. Nick Arbour of the Oromocto Detachment.

Police are reminding residents to lock their vehicles, even when parked in their driveways, and to keep valuables safely stored out of sight. Residents are encouraged to report any suspicious activity, such as one or more people walking up or down a neighbour's driveway or loitering by parked vehicles, particularly after dark.

If you live in the Cambridge Narrows area and think you may have also been a victim of vehicle theft, but have yet to report it, please contact the Oromocto RCMP at (506) 357-4300.

Anyone who has information about the person(s) responsible for these thefts is asked to contact the Oromocto RCMP at 506-357-4300.

Information can also be provided anonymously through Crime Stoppers, 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), or by texting TIP212 + your message to 'CRIMES' (274637).
