A 21-year-old woman has been arrested and police are searching for another suspect following an incident in Sackville, N.B., where a gun was fired.

On Thursday around 1 a.m., the Sackville RCMP was called to a home on Weldon Street where a shot had been fired. Cpl. David MacDonnell said no one was injured.

RCMP in Nova Scotia  arrested Alyssa Margaret Kelly later in the morning in Antigonish. Kelly, who is from Berwick, N.S, will appear in court in Moncton, N.B. on Friday. She has been charged with accessory after the fact to careless use of a firearm, and possession of a prohibited weapon.

A warrant of arrest has been issued for 33-year-old Morris James Lanceleve of no fixed address. Police have not released any further details about the Sackville incident.
