The Pets Unlimited stores in Fredericton,  Moncton and Dieppe have begun going out of business sales as part of a restructuring of their parent company. 

Gordon Brothers Group says store closing sales for PJ's Pets & Pets Unlimited began Friday, April 22nd at 27 locations across Canada. Sales are offering discounts of up to 30% on all on food, pet supplies, accessories.

Brad Hamilton, vice president of PJ's Pets, which operates Pets Unlimited, Petculture and Oliver & Pets Co, is closing 27 of its 39 stores across Canada.

11 stores are closing in Ontario, 6 in Nova Scoitia, 5 in British Columbia and one each in Prince Edward Island and in Newfoundland and Labrador. PJ's has about 430 employees.

PJ's parent company Gordon Brothers Group, founded in 1903, is a global advisory, restructuring and investment firm specializing in retail, consumer products, industrial, and real estate sectors.
