Following the release of a brand new song over the weekend exclusively to members of their fan club, Pearl Jam have announced an upcoming album. It'll be the first new material from the Seattle legends since 2013's Lightning Bolt. The yet-to-be-titled LP is set to be produced by Brendan O'Brien, whose relationship with the band dates back to their second record, 1993's Vs.

The single "Can't Deny Me," which can be heard below, was released to Pearl Jam's Ten Club this past Saturday (Mar. 10), and has now been made available for digital download and across all streaming platforms. Eddie Vedder wrote the song's lyrics set to music written by guitarist Mike McCready. Bassist Jeff Ament created the single's artwork - which can be viewed below - in collaboration with the group's longtime videographer, Kevin Shuss. The track was co-produced by Pearl Jam and O'Brien.

Tonight, the band kicks off a brief run of dates in South America, beginning in Santiago, Chile, with Vedder doing a few solo dates on off days. June and July will see PJ head over to Europe for a handful of shows before returning to the States in August for a set of gigs in baseball stadiums including Safeco Field in Seattle, Wash., Wrigley Field in Chicago, Ill. and Fenway Park in Boston, Mass. The Seattle dates are being dubbed "home" while the rest are labeled as "away" dates in a nod to baseball.

Vedder has long been a Chicago Cubs fan, and Pearl Jam filmed their Let's Play Two concert documentary at Wrigley Field in 2016. The set was a nice holdover for fans while the group took the majority of 2017 off. The complete list of 2018 tour dates can be found here.
