The New England Patriots lost to the New York Giants 12-9. The Pats didn't didn't score a touchdown all night and nobody seemed to care. The Patriots victory came earlier in the day.

Judge Richard Berman ruled in favor of Tom Brady and wiped away the league imposed four game suspension in the deflategate matter.

It rendered last night's preseason game even more meaningless.

Brady went through a brief walk through practice and was sent home before the game started. 34 players did not play for the Patriots. Jimmy Garoppolo was one of them. Ryan Lindley was the quarterback for the entire game, throwing for 253 yards (22-for-45).

Eli Manning suited up but did not play for New York.

Giants kicker Chris Boswell booted four field goals. Stephen Gostkowski kicked three. Game over. Preseason over. Bring on the Steelers next Thursday night.
