The New England Patriots have traded pro bowl defensive end Chandler Jones to the Arizona Cardinals. The Pats get back offensive guard Jonathan Cooper and a second round draft pick.

ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting this is a done deal.

Jones had 12.5 sacks last season but he was scheduled to earn almost $8 million dollars in the last year of his contract.

There is also that episode when he showed up at the Foxborough police station in a daze because of some kinds of substance he put in his body.

In Cooper, the Pats get a #1 draft pick from 2013 to help protect Tom Brady.

They also get the draft pick - keep in mind the Patriots had their first round pick taken away by the league as part of the deflate-gate deal.
