Overnight Fire Destroys Fredericton Home

An overnight fire at a home on Canada Street on Fredericton’s north side has left one person homeless.

The Fredericton Fire Department responded to the blaze at around midnight.

The Fredericton Police Force said a female resident got out of the house with no injuries. Police say the building appears to be a total loss.

The cause of the fire is unknown but officials say it does not appear suspicious.
