A fire in the early hours Thursday caused major damage at a cleaning and pumping service in Grand Falls, New Brunswick.

The blaze at Sani-Way on CN Road was reported shortly after midnight. Crews from Grand Falls and Saint-André responded to the fire, which is believed to have started in one of the three Sani-Way vehicles parked inside the main garage.  Two of the vehicles were reportedly removed from the building.

Damage is estimated to be in the thousands of dollars.

The New Brunswick fire marshal is investigating to determine the exact cause.
