Orono Meets MCI On 92.9 The Ticket

Two teams that are considered favorites to win the LTC championship this season will meet tonight as the Orono Red Riots face defending champion MCI.The Huskies return several members of last years title team and opened the season last week with a convincing 64-0 win over Washington Academy. Senior quarterback Greg Vigue likes to throw the ball out of MCI's no huddle offense. When it comes tome to run the ball they look to senior fullback Alex Bertrand and junior tailback Willie Moss.

Bob Sinclair's Red Riots lost to the Huskies in week 7 a year ago 48-18 but gained needed experience and return 7 starters on defense and 8 on offense. Orono will keep the ball on the ground but junior quarterback Jackson Coutts has a strong arm and has the ability to throw the ball deep.
