Bassist, author and radio host Nikki Sixx will be able to add "actor" to his resume. The Motley Crue member will appear in 'Shoot'er,' a film by P.R. Brown, who has directed several Crue videos. You can watch the trailer below.

Brown used the website Kickstarter to help with the funding. By March 2012, he had raised nearly $50,000, which was above his original goal of $45,000. Backers of the project received everything from a digital copy of the script ($1 donation) to a co-producer credit and a photo shoot at Brown's Los Angeles studio ($10,000 donation).

According to the Kickstarter description, 'Shoot'er' is about a professional killer (Trent Ford) hired to kill a beautiful woman (Sarah McNeilly). Sixx will play the "adulterous scoundrel." Obviously, he's been preparing for the second half of that role for his whole adult life.

In addition to the silver screen, Sixx will also soon be conquering the stage. His 1987 memoir, 'The Heroin Diaries,' is in the process of being adapted into a play, with the hopes that it will open on Broadway in late-2013 or early-2014.
