News Anchor: ‘Amazon Sells a Ton of Sex Toys, My Friend Told Me’

The title of world's most cingeworthy newscast video has just been transferred to this KTVN news anchor.

After a perfectly harmless news story about how Amazon has recently overtaken Walmart as the biggest retailer in the United States, this morning news anchor proudly and horrifyingly announced that it's because Amazon sells sex toys, and Walmart doesn't.

And how does he know this, you ask?

It's because his "friend" works there, and he knows.

His friend. Right.

While we're 99.999% sure that's not the actual reason behind Amazon's surge in profit, we are 100% sure that his co-anchor's response is the best that anyone could have possibly come up with on the spot:
