UPDATE: A 24-year-old Oromocto woman who had been reported missing on Tuesday was located safe and sound on Saturday. The West District RCMP would like to thank the public for their assistance.

EARLIER REPORT:

24-year-old Jade MacLean was last seen on Tuesday, December 10 shortly before 8 a.m., when she left her residence to go to school. She has not been seen or heard from since.

MacLean is described as 5'10” and about 275 lbs with blonde hair and blue eyes.  The RCMP in Oromocto says she was wearing a purple or pink-colored jacket, a black hat with a snowflake pattern, blue and white mittens, blue jeans and hiking boots, and she was carrying a black backpack.

Police say Jade MacLean has a developmental disability that may make it more difficult for her to communicate with others.

Anyone who may have seen this young woman or who has information on her whereabouts is asked to contact the RCMP immediately at 506-357-3400 or 1-888-506-7267 (after hours/weekends).
