The man accused of committing indecent acts on dogs we told you about in a previous post has been sent off for a psychiatric assessment.

29-year-old Anthony Michael Volgmann, charged with bestiality and corrupting morals, made his first appearance in court on October 4th; he did not enter a plea. Volgmann is currently not in custody, but on conditional release:

  • He can not be within one hundred feet of any animals
  • He can no longer own a computer
  • He can not have contact with the SPCA
  • He can not attend any dog shows

Volgmann was arrested on September 18th after authorities searched his home in Moncton. His next court appearance is set for December 4th.
