New Brunswick Crime Stoppers and the West District RCMP are appealing to the public for information regarding an arson fire last summer in Millville.

In the early hours of July 28, 2014, the RCMP was called to investigate a suspicious fire at Millville Fire Station and municipal offices.  The blaze destroyed the building as well as the equipment inside. The source of the fire was determined to be arson and the investigation into the cause is continuing.

If you have any information concerning this crime, please contact NB Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Your anonymity is guaranteed. Crime Stoppers will pay up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrest of the person(s) responsible for this crime.

The Millville fire came a week after a blaze that destroyed the Nackawic Fire Department and damaged three fire trucks.  That fire started after a man drove his vehicle into the building.
