On July 28, 2014 at approximately 4:30 a.m., the RCMP was called to investigate a suspicious fire at the Millville Fire Station and municipal offices.  The blaze destroyed the building as well as the equipment inside. The source of the fire was determined to be arson and police are still trying to identify a suspect.
