It seems hard to believe but it's true. Maine's Brian Dumoulin was on the ice for more minutes in game 7 last night for the Pittsburgh Penquins than teammate Sidney Crosby.

Dumoulin is the 25-year-old defenseman from Biddeford and now he's going to play in his second Stanley Cup Finals.

In last night's double-overtime game 7 win over Ottawa, Dumoulin had 46 shifts and logged 30:03 of ice time. Crosby was on the ice for 26:49.

Dumoulin was third in minutes played - the top two also defensemen.

When it comes to championships, Dumoulin already has the hockey hat trick...a Maine state championship at Biddeford HS(2007,2008). A NCAA championship with Boston College(2010, 2012) and a Stanley Cup title last year with the Pens. He became the first Maine born player to win the Cup.

Entering this year's Cup Finals, Dumoulin has a goal(Game 4 vs OTT) and three assists in 19 playoff games.
