Moncton Man Struck By Vehicle in Crosswalk
Police say a 70-year-old Moncton man was taken to hospital with serious and potentially life-threatening injuries after being struck by an SUV Thursday evening.
The Codiac Regional RCMP responded around 6:30 p.m. to the collision at the intersection of Beechwood Avenue and McLaughlin Road, according to Sgt. Mario Fortin.
It's believed the man was crossing Beechwood Drive at a crosswalk when he was struck by the vehicle.
The investigation into the cause of the collision is ongoing.
