It was one of those classic finishes that will never be forgotten - the MCI Huskies fumble the snap on a game winning field goal try with three seconds left, only to have Eli Bussell take the ball 27 yards for the touchdown.

MCI wins! MCI wins the Class D state championship 20-14!

The comeback victory gives the Huskies a perfect 12-0 season, a state title after losing in the championship game the last two years. And, it also gives MCI the first title since 1974.

MCI trailed Liston 14-0 at halftime but held the Greyhounds off the board in the second half.

The Huskies scored twice in the second half, including a 98-yard drive to tie the game at 14-14.

And then the final play:

MCI sets up for a 37-yard field goal attempt to win the game with 3.1 seconds on the clock. The snap was muffed by Eli Bussell. But he then got up and ran the ball around the right side of the field and went into the endzone untouched.

MCI beats Lisbon 20-14.

Wells Dominates MDI In Title Game

The Wells Warriors left no doubt who is best in Class C after dominating MDI 44-0. The Warriors rolled up 357 yards of offense while holding the Trojans to just 65 yards.

For Wells, it's the first title since 2011. MDI finishes the season 9-2.

Bonny Eagle wins the Class A championship, beating Portland 34-14. It is the sixth title for the Scots under coach Kevin Cooper. Bonny Eagle finish the season with an 11-0 record.
