A 49-year-old Moncton man faces charges of armed robbery in August and September and attempted bank robbery in Moncton on October 5th.

Terry Dean Leger was charged with four counts of robbery, committing an indictable offence while having his face masked and attempted robbery. He is undergoing a 30 day psychiatric assessment. He will appear in Moncton Provincial Court on November 3 at 1:30 p.m.

The RCMP said the robberies occurred on August 15 at the Advance Savings Credit Union on St. George Street, September 6 and 21 at the UNI bank on St. George Street, September 11 at the Advance Savings Credit Union on Weldon Street and the attempted robbery on October 5 at the Omista Credit Union on Cornhill Street.
