Man Arrested After Firearm Incident Outside Hampton, N.B.
New Brunswick RCMP say a 26-year-old man has been arrested following an incident at a home in Lower Norton, west of Hampton.

Police were called to the home on the Pickwauket Road at approximately 1:15 a.m. Friday, following a report of a shot being fired.
A woman who was in the house managed to leave, according to Cst. Jullie Rogers-Marsh. When police arrived, the man was alone in the home.
Police closed a section of Route 845 as a precaution. The man was arrested without incident just after 10 a.m. Friday, and the road was re-opened. RCMP say no one was injured.
The man’s identity has not been released. The investigation is ongoing.
