Incident Type: THEFT Date: 6/12/2017 Town: T17 R4 Wels Trooper: Tr. Desrosier Brief Synopsis: Tr. Desrosier took a report from a home owner that sometime overnight a flag and flag pole had been stolen and a sign was thrown into the woods. Tr. Desrosier is investigating.

Incident Type: Speaking Engagement Date: 6/13/2017 Town: Dyer Brook Trooper: Tr. Adams Brief Synopsis: Tr. Adams spoke to a 5th grade class about the State Police. This was part of a research project that one student did about the State Police. Tr. Adams was there to speak to the students and answer questions about the State Police and what Troopers do.

Incident Type: Suspicious Incident Date: 6/14/2017 Town: Easton Trooper: Tr. Casavant Brief Synopsis: Tr. Casavant and Cpl. Michaud responded to an Easton residence around midnight. A woman reported that she was awoken to what she thought was someone in her home. At the time, the woman was home with her two young children. Tr. Casavant arrived and dispatchers kept the woman on the line while Tr. Casavant cleared the home. It was determined that a combination of an open window and high winds were the cause of the noise in the residence.

Incident Type: DISORDERLY CONDUCT Date: 6/15/2017 Town: Easton Trooper: Tr. Kilcollins Brief Synopsis: Tr. Kilcollins and Cpl. Quint responded to a trailer park in Easton for a threatening complaint. The caller advised that her brother and his girlfriend have been staying with her for a few days and there was an argument over money. The brother stated that he would “ruin” her when she arrived home. It was learned that the man had a warrant for his arrest. When Tr. Kilcollins arrived on scene he observed someone looking at him through the window. Tr. Kilcollins knocked on the door and the girlfriend answered the door but said she didn’t know where her boyfriend was. Tr. Kilcollins heard noise coming from the woods behind the trailer. Tr. Levesque and his K9 Vitz responded to attempt a track of the man who was suspected of running out the back door of the trailer. No scent was picked up from the rear of the trailer. On 6/16, Tr. Flynn responded to the same residence for a burglary where a 70” television and gaming computer were taken. It is believed by the homeowner that her brother returned and took the items. Tr. Flynn is working with Trooper’s in Troop E with locating the man in the Howland area.

Incident Type: OAS Date: 6/17/2017 Town: Stacyville Trooper: Tr. Adams Brief Synopsis: Tr. Adams stopped a vehicle for speeding in the town of Staceyville. The operator’s license was under suspension and the operator was issued a criminal summons for OAS and will have to appear in Millinocket District Court.

Incident Type: Warrant Date: 6/17/2017 Town: Sherman Trooper: Tr. Adams/Tr. Kilcollins Brief Synopsis: A male subject contacted the State Police inquiring if he had an active warrant for failure to appear. The male did have a warrant and agreed to meet Troopers at the Troop F Barracks in Houlton to turn himself in. The male turn himself in without incident and was able to meet with a bail commissioner and be bailed from the Barracks.

Incident Type: WARRANT Date: 6/18/2017 Town: New Sweden Trooper: Tr. Desrosier Brief Synopsis: Tr. Desrosier was investigating a report of suspicious activity at a residence in New Sweden and located a male who had an active warrant for his arrest. Tr. Desrosier arrested the man and transported him to Caribou PD where he posted bail.

Troop F of the Maine State Police is responsible for Aroostook County and the extreme northern sections of Somerset, Piscataquis and Penobscot counties.
