One person was taken to the hospital on Monday after a three vehicle crash in Northern Aroostook County.
Maine State Police were called to Route 161 in St. John Plantation at around 2:10 pm Monday afternoon after 18-year-old Mistie Albert of St. Francis lost control of her 2001 Nissan car on the slippery roadway and crossed over into the oncoming lane, striking a 2003 Ford truck, driven by 55-year-old Kenneth Roy of Wallagrass.
Albert then struck a second vehicle driven by 49-year-old Todd Levesque of Wallagrass. Levesque was operating a 2010 Western Star tractor trailer unit.
Albert sustained injuries and was transported by a family member to the hospital. All three were wearing their seat-belts.
