Maine State Parks Looking for Summer Lifeguards
Looking for a summer job? Want to be a lifeguard. Maine State Parks may have a job for you. Maine is up against a lifeguard shortage as summer nears.
Maine State Parks is looking for certified lifeguards for the summer 2016 season. The season begins on June 5 and runs until Aug. 20.
The state is looking for lifeguards for:
- Crescent Beach State Park in Cape Elizabeth
- Damariscotta Lake State Park in Damariscotta
- Lake St. George State Park in Liberty
- Popham Beach State Park in Phippsburg
- Range Pond State Park in Poland
- Reid State Park in Georgetown
- Sebago Lake State Park in Casco
- Swan Lake State Park in Swanville.
Lifeguards must be at least 17 years old in the state. Certification is available through local classes.
