A 49-year-old man from Bangor was sentenced to 14 years in prison for drug trafficking, possession and being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Maine Man Sentenced to 14 Years in Prison

Allen Henry was sentenced to 168 months with five years of supervised release. He pleaded guilty on May 23, 2023 to possessing controlled substances with the intent to distribute and being a felon in possession of a firearm.

400 Grams of Fentanyl, 30 Grams of Cocaine and a Firearm Seized

The Brewer Police Department arrested Henry in May 2022 after officers seized the narcotics and firearm from his parked vehicle. Henry had 400 grams of fentanyl, 30 grams of cocaine and a firearm while he was out on bail.

Active Warrant and Violating Bail Conditions

Henry had an active warrant for his arrest and was out of jail on bail conditions. He was prohibited from possessing alcohol, drugs and firearms. He had a previous conviction in 2013.

Assisting in the investigation was the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, Maine Drug Enforcement Agency, and the Brewer Police Department.
