Madawaska Man Unharmed After Overnight Accident in Frenchville
A Madawaska man walked away unharmed after an early morning accident in Frenchville.
According to the Aroostook County Sheriff's Office, 23-year-old Jake Roy was traveling east on
Route 1 in Frenchville at around 2:45 a.m. Friday when he lost control of his 2004 GMC pickup truck. Roy's truck went off the road and struck a parked commercial wrecker that was partially inside a garage.
The wrecker and building is owned by Gary Paradis of Frenchville.
Roy's vehicle sustained substantial front end damage and the wrecker sustained
damage on the front right and left sides. Paradis' garage also sustained
damage on the east side of the structure.
Luckily, Roy did not sustain any injuries from the crash.
