Maine State Police say a driver from New Brunswick was able to walk away from a crash that happened on Route 9 in Clifton, Maine on Sept. 1 around 11:45 p.m.
The driver was hauling a load of two-by-fours on Route 9.
The driver told Trooper Chris Hashey he was traveling down a hill and negotiating a sharp curve when he felt the load shift.
The shift caused him to drift into the guard rail and roll into a ditch.
The driver, Bradley Armstrong, 53, of New Brunswick, had only minor injuries and declined transport.
The Department Environmental Protection was called to deal with the spilled diesel fuel.
The tractor trailer and the spilled two-by-fours were removed today, Sept. 2.
No charges are expected.
