Local Fighters Compete At MSG This Weekend

Maine fighters Bruce Boyington and Matt Denning will be competing on this Saturday's World Series of Fighting card at Madison Square Garden.

Boyington (14-9), who fights out of Bangor with Young's MMA, will be facing Andre Harrison at the event.  Harrison is 14-0 in his career and is listed as the top ranked featherweight in Florida.  Boyington recently returned from fighting in Russia for the ACB promotion and lost a decision to Musa Khamanaev.  The fight will be his third for WSOF and he currently sports a 2-0 record.

Denning will face Tom Marcellino on a short notice fight Saturday.  He recently fought for the New England Fights promotion and lost to Taylor Trahan in September via submission,  He currently sits with a 3-4 pro record and will face Marcellino who is 7-5.  Denning fights out of Lewiston for CMBJJ.

Both fighters will be on the preliminary card that is set to begin at 2:30 p.m.  The fights can be viewed on WSOF.com
