Kevin Durant has yet to sniff out an NBA championship, and if you let Lil B tell it, KD's lack of a ring is all due to a curse he placed on the ball player a few years back after former the MVP tried to play him. Durant's chances of hoisting the Larry O'Brien trophy just got a lot better as the free agent is about to sign multi-year deal to play ball with the championship runner-up Golden State Warriors aka The Based God's home team, and the rapper has lifted the curse.

Durant had been mulling over a few franchises but ended up choosing to team up with Steph Curry-led Oakland squad. "The primary mandate I had for myself in making this decision was to have it based on the potential for my growth as a player -- as that has always steered me in the right direction," Durant wrote in an open letter. "But I am also at a point in my life where it is of equal importance to find an opportunity that encourages my evolution as a man: moving out of my comfort zone to a new city and community which offers the greatest potential for my contribution and personal growth. With this in mind, I have decided that I am going to join the Golden State Warriors."

And like that, the curse is lifted. B took to Twitter a little while ago to let everyone know he has undone whater magic spell he had on the all-star forward. "The BasedGod" wants to speak,As life unravels and superstars make decisions that change lifes, welcome home KD the curse is lifted," he posted.

Lil B had previously stated that the only way he would let KD off the hook is if he signed with the Knicks. But hey, things change.

Durant is expected to sign a two-year deal worth $54.3 million.
