It was a tough Sunday night for Boston teams as the Celtics lost in overtime to the Pistons while the Bruins were dominated by the Lightning.Brad Stevens Celtics were in a tight game against Detroit and took a lead late before going to overtime and losing 105-97. The loss is the third straight for the Celtics who fall out of the final playoff spot heading into tonight's game in Brooklyn against the Nets.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope led Detroit with 27 points, including 7 in overtime. Evan Turner was the high man for Boston with 23 points and 8 assists.

The Boston Bruins got behind early in their game against Tampa Bay and trailed 4-1 after two periods before falling 5-3 for their fifth straight loss.

Despite the setback, Boston still has the final wildcard playoff spot by one point over Ottawa. After the game coach Claude Julien cited fatigue as the reason for poor decisions in the game. Boston will get a chance to rest with three days off before playing Anaheim Thursday at the Garden.
