Did you think Jon Lester would make good on his promise of coming back to the Red Sox?

In the words of my Bostonian friend Ryan "Sully" Sullivan (Best Boston name evahhhh) "Not happening Pally."

According to Nick Cafardo's tweet today Jon Lester has put his Newton, MA home on the market. So all that talk of Lester coming back to Boston during free agency isn't gonna happen. Too bad, he was an integral part of two World Series Titles. I wish him luck tonight as he makes his playoff debut for The Oakland A's. And as it says in the title latahhhhh Lester!
