Carolina kicker Graham Gano booted a 48-yard field goal as time expired and the Panthers knocked off the New England Patriots 33-30. It's the second home loss for the Pats already this season.

Another week of faulty defense by the Patriots is the biggest reason why the Patriots are 2-2 after four games. Cam Newton and the Carolina offense racked up 444 yards. Newton was 22-for-28 passing, good for 318 yards.

Tom Brady had a good day again, 32-for-45, 307 yards and two TDs.

It's early, but, the Patriots are in second place behind the 3-1 Buffalo Bills and are tied with the 2-2 NY Jets.

A quick turnaround for the Patriots - Thursday night at Tampa Bay.
