Another sign that nothing is coming easy to the Red Sox - a 4-3 win in Toronto stops their eight game losing streak but they made it much more difficult than they needed to.

Mookie Betts and Dustin Pedroia hit home runs and Clay Buchholtz was pitching lights out. The ball was turned over to Kojo Uehara who again gave up hits and allowed three runs to score. Once nearly unhittable, Koji has now given up 10 hits in his last four appearances. He has blown two saves in the last four days.

Now the good news. Yoenis Cespedes ripped a single in the top of the ninth and scored Brock Holt who had stolen two bases. Craig Breslow picks up his first save in four years.

Sox win 4-3.

By the way, Buchholz was great for 8 1/3 innings, giving up just 4 hits and walking 2. He got charged with all three runs but had one of his best outings of the year.

Check out Dustin Pedroia helping out with his defense...
