Clutch shots down the stretch allowed the UMaine women's basketball team get back in the win column with a 69-65 win over Missouri State Saturday afternoon.Sigi Koizar scored a career high 30 points to lead the Bears who opened up  12 point margin in the second half before Missouri State battled back in the final few minutes.

Senior Liz Wood poured in 14 points including some key free throws down the stretch. She also led Maine with 8 rebounds.

The win improves the Bears record to 4-3 and face a big challenge on their third and final day at the Gulf Coast Showcase when they play the LSU Tigers in a 1pm game.
