Making his final appearance in Boston Kobe Bryant was able to leave the parquet floor with a smile after making a big shot to help his Lakers beat the Celtics 112-104.

After making a run late in the fourth quarter to cut the Lakers lead to two points Bryant drained a long 3-pointer to provide more breathing room and propel LA to the win. Kobe finished with a double-double putting up 15 points and pulling down 11 rebounds. Jordan Clarkson led LA with 24 points in a game that had 9 lead changes.

Bryant received mixed reaction during the game with a chorus of cheers and boos during his pregame introduction. On a couple occasions during the game fans started to chant KOBE which also brought out the boo birds.

The loss ends Boston's 4-game winning streak as they could never overtake LA in the final quarter. Isaiah Thomas poured in 24 points for Boston while Evan Turner added 20 points and 8 assists.

Next up for the Celtics is a Saturday game against the Nets. Their final game against Kobe will take place in LA on April 3.
