Last week on "Last Week Tonight," host John Oliver ripped into televangelists and the predatory "seed faith" tactics they use to generate donations for their church.

Oliver spent more than 20 minutes bashing televangelists who have relied on sleazy tactics to generate millions for their private homes, jets, and thousand-dollar suits over the years.

Following his segment on HBO, the IRS has come under heavy scrutiny for its practices related to auditing religious organizations and "faith-based" exemptions to taxation here in the United States.

Oliver's latest segment, which tackles televangelists who reap millions of dollars from faithful followers, has some praying that the IRS will exercise, well, less faith when it comes to televangelist funds.
