Former UMaine linebacker John Huard had his official induction into the National Football Foundation's College Football Hall of Fame Tuesday night in New York.

Huard was part of Maine's 1965 Tangerine Bowl team, played in the NFL with the Denver Broncos and New Orleans Saint. He coached Canadian national championship teams at Acadia University and coached the CFL's Toronto Argonauts. Huard spent seven years coaching at Maine Maritime Academy.
