Fort Fairfield and Troy Meth Lab Busts [PHOTO]

MDEA reports two meth labs are being dismantled today in Fort Fairfield and in Troy. That brings the total to 107 responses this year in Maine.

Drug agents found the Fort Fairfield lab at 567 Route 1A. Dustin Murphy-Moran, 24-years-old, was arrested and charged with operating a meth lab.

Agents found 71 plastic soda bottles used to make the methamphetamine inside the home. It is suspected he had been making meth for some time, said officials.

He was taken to the Aroostook County Jail and bail was set at $10,000. The Maine Department of Environmental Protection and Fort Fairfield Police assisted at the site.

The lab discovered in Troy is at 408 Ward Hill Road. Lab personnel will be on scene to dispose of the materials safely.

No one has been arrested for the Troy lab, but a suspect has been identified. State Police are assisting MDEA Agents at the scene.
