Sports Hero’s Award Deadline

Let's face it, many sports activities in your community can't happen with the great work of volunteers. That's where the Sports Hero's Awards come in. Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket and Hero's Sports Grill in downtown Bangor partner for a third year to honor the top sports volunteers in Maine.

If you want to nominate a special volunteer in your community - a longtime coach, that special concession stand person or fundraiser, the volunteer who gives time to help youth sports in your town or city, got to 929theticket.com and click on Sports Hero's Award.

We will honor winners and their guests at a luncheon in November.

Deadline for nominations is this Friday, October 9th.
