Maine State Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash in Masardis after an 18-year-old from Ashland was hit by a tractor trailer, and crashed in a field.

Hunter Glenna was driving on Route 11, just north of the mill in Masardis Thursday morning, when a tractor trailer struck the left rear of her vehicle, according to the Maine State Police. Glenna told Troopers the tractor trailer was in her lane and she swerved to miss the head-on collision.

Police said the truck did not stop after hitting her vehicle. Glenna was not injured. Her vehicle was towed from the scene.

Authorities continue to investigate the collision.
