Hiller Leads Rams To 14-3 Over Witches

Bangor HS senior Andrew Hillier led the Rams from the hill and the plate in a 14-3 win over Brewer. The victory moves the defending state champs to 2-0 in the KVAC ranks. For the Witches, the Friday afternoon game was the season opener.

On the mound, Hillier worked the first five innings, giving up just one earned run.

At the plate Hiller drove in five runs, three of them with two outs in an inning.

Jordan Derrah had three hits for the Rams. The Rams outhit Brewer 10 to three.

Junior Matt Pushard clubbed a home run for Brewer.
