High School Basketball on The Rock: Houlton Boys at Presque Isle, Score & Highlights!
The Presque Isle Wildcats and Houlton Shires renewed their rivalry on Thursday night in Presque Isle.
Terry Cummings Wildcats came into the game on the heels of a tough loss to Washington Academy, while Tim Brewer’s Shires came in winners of their first two games.
In the end the Wildcats took the contest by a score of 66-60. The Wildcats were paced by Griffin Guerrette with 26 points and Jason Dumais grabbed several key rebounds.
Leading the Shires was Cameron Cleary with 20 points and Keegan Gentle poured in 18 points.
Next up for Presque Isle (1-1) is a date at Belfast on Saturday while Houlton (2-1) will host the Southern Aroostook Warriors.
The Rock continues its High School Basketball coverage on Monday the 18th with the Fort Fairfield Lady Tigers traveling to Mars Hill to play the Central Aroostook Lady Panthers at 7:00 pm.
