A 32-year-old Massachusetts man was sentenced to 7 and half years and four years of supervised release for conspiring to distribute heroin.

Victor Rosario distributed heroin to people in Maine who transported it from Lawrence, MA between July 2015 and January 2016. 100 grams of heroin was seized from one of his customers returning to Maine. A covert purchase was arranged by federal agents in Lawrence, said the DOJ. His guilty pleas was entered January 6, 2017.

The MDEA, the Maine State Police, and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration investigated the case as part of the Department of Justice’s Strategy to Combat the Opioid Epidemic.
