According to Environment Canada, a low pressure system will track through the region tonight, rain associated with this system will become heavy at times this morning, with rain continuing into Saturday morning over the Woodstock and Carleton County area.

New Brunswick's Emergency Measures Organization advises residents to keep an eye out for localized flooding and to be prepared in the event of an emergency or power outage.

They suggest homeowners who have experienced flooding during heavy rain storms in the past through localized flooding should take all necessary precautions, including clearing leaves and debris from drains.
