By all accounts, the Guns N' Roses' "Not in This Lifetime" tour has been a huge success, but will the band take the next step and record an album together? Giving a rare interview to Iceland Magazine, Axl Rose wouldn't confirm that new music is in the works, but did leave the door open for a recording future with the current lineup.

"Right now our focus is on touring and the shows but everyone seems to be getting along so you never know," stated Rose. The singer also went on to discuss the positive spirit of the tour so far, adding, "Everyone just wants to do their best for the fans, each other and our crew. Everyone pushes each other with their performance and commitment. And with highlights, every show, every crowd is different with something to remember about each one."

Earlier this year, Billboard reported that the "Not in This Lifetime" tour had moved into fourth place among the highest grossing tours of all-time.

Fans on five continents have flocked to see Axl Rose reunite with Slash and Duff McKagan, while Steven Adler has made an appearance during the run, leaving Izzy Stradlin as the lone classic-era member to hold out. During the show in Iceland, Rose led the audience in the "Happy Birthday" song, saluting Slash.

As for Guns N' Roses' immediate future, the band has November dates booked in Mexico followed by an Asian tour and shows finishing out the month in Abu Dhabi and Johannesburg. See the stops here. As many fans know, Slash has a new album titled Living the Dream due Sept. 21 with Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators, and there have been rumors from multiple sources saying that Axl Rose will continue his association with AC/DC.
